New Years Trip

CHARLESTON TRIP:
Caroline Davidson's beautiful picture

I am back, sooner rather than later to share with you one of the most fun trips I have been on. The sweet Davidson family rented a house on Kiawah Island and 8 of us went up there for a few days and ran in the New Year. One thing about our friends is that you can expect a bunch of laughter, and that of course was the case this time. Our friends just seem to have so much joy and such a great time together, and I love it. I am so blessed to have such a great group of solid Christian girls.. Okay, Okay, back on track. So after pulling up to this beautiful house, and sending out luggage up on a ELEVATOR, we got dressed and went to Rosebank Farms for dinner.
after dinner
Oh wait... how could i forget on the way there we decided to stop and fill up the car with gas and so we stuck the pump in the car and then went inside for a Diet Coke and candy bar, so while we were inside the gas just kept pumping, and pumping, and somehow the automatic shut off was not working, and so it overfilled and went to $75, lets just say that the gas station was not very sweet about it, and sweet Annie had to deal with it. After that issue we were scared to get back in the car, but thankfully we all lived and the car did not explode!

Okay, so after dinner we went back to the house and vegged out on lots of chocolate and sweets to stock up before our New Year resolutions.

The next day we headed to Charleston and saw the city and shopped some. It was a blast but my feet were hurting by the end of they day.

How Beautiful would this drive be each day.

That night Caroline and Annie cooked us a great meal at the house, and we stayed up late and talked and laughed and danced some more.

The next days we just hung out around the house, and then for New Years Eve we went back to Charleston for dinner and laughed some more. Everyone looked so pretty and I enjoyed looking back and talking about our favorite memories of the year. After dinner we went to the hotel where there was a party and danced the night away. It was a great night.

PARTY HATS!
On New Years day we slept late and watched football all day. It was fun, and that night a chef came in and cooked us a classic NYD meal. It was so yummy. We also went to the golf course and took some pictures, and ran into some friends from the night before.. (our little inside joke..47 Eugina)

THE GROUP!

Then it was time to go home :(

Okay, so maybe that was too many pictures for you, and you may be confused as to why so many were not from me.. but with 8 girls, we elected the 2 best cameras to be used so that the strange people who take the pictures didn't have 8 to deal with.
I hope you are getting a great start back in the New Year (what is your resolution? have you kept it?) and hope you enjoyed this post.
