Birthdays Galore!

I feel like these last 2 weeks can be summed up by "birthdays, birthdays, and more birthdays!"

There were about 8 alpha gams on the hall who had birthdays in these last two weeks so it was a lot of fun and a lot of cake! It is these times that I get sad I have a summer birthday and do not get to celebrate with my friends as much! But one plus is that I never have to go to school on my birthday.

Last week however, may have been one of the worst weeks I have had in Auburn, and then I was thinking that if last week was the worst, then my life if pretty good. Last Sunday I was coming home from Birmingham, and realized I had left my laptop at home, and while to most people that is not a big deal, to a college student it was major. Then that night my car battery died in Walmart.. and I was clueless as to what to do.. Thankfully 2 people offered to help us (and let me just say for the record, the Walmart security guy NEVER stopped and asked us if we were okay!!), and thankfully an alpha gam and her boyfriend were parked next to us so they could be a major help. Also, Rebekah Cowart came and brought our groceries home for us. It is these days that I am so thankful for what great friends I have. Since Walmart's Auto Zone was closed, my sweet Dad left Bham at 4am Monday to come down to Auburn and change my battery. What a sweet dad I have. Anyways, that was just an awful start to a week.. but now we are all better!

This weekend I am going home Friday night to see Legally Blonde the Musical with Sydney on Friday and then coming back for the game Saturday! Looking like it will be a great weekend! I cannot wait. I have been wanting to see Legally Blonde for at least a year or two, so I am so excited it is working out! I will be back to tell you how it is!
