Today is the first day in a looong time that I can remember sleeping as late as I want and having nothing planned. It is a nice feeling until I remember I have a paper due for my online American Literature Class (yuck!).

But before I get into the paper I thought I would update you on what is in the works this summer.

okay, well maybe history museums are not are cup of tea

but we are trying to be extra thrifty on this trip and we are having trouble finding a place to stay. So blogger friends, does anyone have any suggestions, connections, or promo codes they would like to share for places to stay in Chicago or really anywhere in our state that is driving distance.
