Monogrammed Lampshade

Hey Friends, I am sharing with you my new project I completed. I had seen this on a blog and decided I wanted to try and do my own. Instructions to make the lampshade

The professional version

I went to the thrift store and got a lampshade for $2.99 and felt for like $.25 cents to try it out. So a pretty cheap craft. My only problem is I do not have a lamp that actual fits the shade, ops (it is just sitting on top of another shade in the picture).

My version

I would say I did a pretty good job. A tip I would recommend is to not trace the stencils onto the felt like I did below:

but to trace onto a piece of paper and then just place felt behind paper and cut it. The blogger who did it originally gives a good step by step manual on how to do it.
