On Friday we attempted to go to the Braves Game. So why you were covered in blankets hiding in your bathtub from the horrible weather, a bunch of crazy college kids loaded buses that looked like they were directly from Remember the Titans (aka, old) and headed to Atlanta. We had checked the weather channel but were trying to keep the rain from 'raining on our parade.' We were lucky enough to make it to Turner Field before the storm hit.. but a few hours later, the game was canceled, we got soaked, and were able to make it back to Auburn by midnight. Although I sadly did not get to watch a baseball game, it was fun chatting with everyone and I know this is something I will laugh about for a long time. We had Samford friends come with us for the game, so it was fun meeting new friends!
So this was taken off my phone. It is the only picture I actually took that night, and I didn't want to steal any more of Sally Claire and Caroline's pictures now that they are both bloggers.
I am looking forward to celebrating Easter at home with my family. Mom is hosting a lunch for all the family to come and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. Maybe while I am home I can dye some easter eggs too. I always try to be creative in dying, but ends in a big fail.
I love this time of year because it also means the Easter Candy is out. I use to think that Reese's Eggs were my favorite candy, but this year I think that SweetTart Eggs and Bunny's may be beating them. Maybe the Easter Bunny could put some of these in my basket this year!
