Favorite Things

Raindrops and roses and whiskers on kittens.. Okay so that may be Fraulein Maria's favorite things but those are not my favorite things. I thought I would share a few things to describe myself. I guess these are not necessarily all of my "favorite things" but they are certain unique things about me that I thought I would share.

1. Broadway Plays.. specifically Wicked. My family would agree that I have a little obsession with Wicked, even though I have seen it 3 times, I think I could see it everyday. One day I am just going to hop on stage and play Elphaba.. I mean can quote almost every line. The music, the costumes, and the story line are just all so great. I have become a collector with Wicked Snow Bunnies, Wicked Umbrella, T-shirt, Poster, Calendar, and sticky notes. I guess you know what to get my for my Birthday.

2. The Today Show... Okay, so maybe you have caught on to this one, but I love the Today Show. It actually makes my mornings so much more enjoyable. I love getting to watch all the hosts interact and make their jobs just look so fun. My favorite hour is the Kathie Lee and Hoda part and my dream in life would be to take over that segment of the show one day... Don't worry, I have a back up plan to teach math.

3. Well my 3rd thing is where you would find the Today Show and Broadway plays.. I love New York City. I love the business of the city and just all the culture there. I hope that one day I can bring my Math Teacher budget up there and live there for a few years. I am so excited about spending Spring Break there.

4. JCrew.. I have an obsession with clothes from here. I mean, if only I could afford everything on this website. It kills me everyday when I receive their daily email and explore the pages of their website. As a teacher I can get 15% off.. boo ya!

5. Real Pencils.. I hate mechanical pencils. I know that is so nerdy, but I swear that the wooden pencil makes my hand writing better.

6. Random Information.. My friends have begun to call me Harriet the Spy because they say that I know these random facts about things. The thing is that I just am curious to know about things and if I do not know the answer I will not rest until I find it. It is normally something silly like, What is Jennifer Anniston's Birthday or Where was the first Zaxbys? So thankful that I can just whip out my blackberry and google it.

7. Movies.. I love watching movies. I am the kind of person who watches movies over and over and over. For some reason it does not bother me to rewatch something. So I think I have probably seen Father of the Bride and You've Got Mail both 50 times. I know you are thinking it is such a waste of time, but normally it is when I am going to bed, so it is not like I sit during the day and waste all this time.

So those are a few random things that can describe me. I am sure I will be back in a later post with some more things but that will have to do until then. I hope the Spring Break fever hasn't gotten into your system too much and you are still able to be productive this week.
