Christmas Edition

Hello and Merry Christmas! I realize I have been neglecting my blog a lot lately since I have been home for the break so I decided to give everyone a quick update.

This not our actual Christmas card, but one of our options we talked about.

As I type I am in the midst of a baking break. Today has been filled with lots of treats. I made cookie dough truffles, sugar cookies, and short bread cookies (thanks Annie for the recipe!). I hope we can find enough people to eat all of our goodies.

On Monday night we had our 4th annual girl's of '09 Dirty Santa Party and it was so much fun. I ended up with a cute scarf and wore it the next day!

Last Tuesday I went to the Justin Bieber concert. Yes, make fun of me if you want, but it was a lot of fun. Although most of the room was filled with young girls in the glitery tops or shirts with Justin Bieber's face on it, I too joined them in having "Bieber Fever". As I walked in the concert the lady behind me said, "I think some of these girls are too old to be here". Can I say RUDE?? I decided after the concert that my kids are not going to a concert until they are 16!

Then back tracking a little bit, before we were out for the break we got to go to Montgomery to the Epperson's house and they cooked for us and we exchanged our Secret Santa gifts. We all drew a name and bought a gift for them, and then we had to guess which gift belonged with who. It was so much fun, and one of those nights where my stomach hurt from laughing so much!

I finally have a clue of an idea on what I want to do this summer. YAY!! More details soon! It begins with, "Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York"
